What is it?
Between The Lines Songwriting Camp is a premium, immersive songwriting experience designed to elevate your craft through collaboration, creativity, and community.
Over an inspiring long weekend, you’ll join a curated group of songwriters for expanded co-writing sessions, direct access to onsite producers, and meaningful connection with top industry professionals.
Unlike traditional songwriting retreats, every camper leaves with work tape demos of the songs created during camp, along with access to mentorship, conversations with hitmakers, select performance opportunities, and over $2,000 in bonus studio, performance, and hospitality benefits provided by the Hutton Hotel.
If you’re seeking an inspiring getaway where you can grow your artistry, build meaningful creative relationships, and learn directly from industry professionals—
this is where you belong.
New in 2026?
We listened closely to our past campers and reimagined the experience around what matters most: more writing opportunities and deeper creative collaboration.
This new iteration of Between the Lines doubles the amount of songwriting compared to previous camps and introduces the opportunity to work hands-on with established producers on site—bringing the songs you create to life in real time, from first idea to fully produced track.

A Look Inside the Between the Lines Experience
Thursday, April 16 — Arrival & Gathering
Writers, producers, and mentors arrive, settle in, and begin connecting. Light programming and informal activities set the tone for the days ahead.
Friday, April 17 — Writing Begins
The camp begins immediately in the work.
Writers are placed into small groups and given a focused block of time to write and develop a song from scratch. Signature artists and producers move through the room throughout the day, offering mentorship and early creative guidance as ideas take shape.
By late afternoon, songs are brought into production rooms for pitching and feedback. Select songs move directly into production, while others receive direction and next steps for continued development.
That evening, the room resets and Writing Session #2 begins—new groups, new prompts, and new creative direction. Sessions often run late into the night.
Saturday, April 18 — Listening, Writing to Brief & Deep Production
Saturday begins with listening. Writers hear the production work that started the day before and have the opportunity to give feedback and refine direction.
In the afternoon, writers move into Writing Session #3, built around a real-world sync or artist brief.
As the day continues, the focus shifts into a deeper production phase. Writers work closely with producers and mentors to develop Write #3—digging into arrangement, performance, and production choices to make each song the strongest version of itself.
Sunday, April 19 — Final Pitches, Final Writes & Celebration
Sunday begins with pitching. Writers present the songs created during Writing Session #3 to producers and mentors, receiving feedback as production decisions begin to take shape.
Later in the morning and into early afternoon, writers move into Writing Session #4—the final write of the camp. This session leads directly into the last round of pitches, as producers hear the final batch of songs created during the week.
As production continues, the camp shifts into a closing celebration. Writers and mentors gather for a festive final night filled with special guest performances, writer rounds, karaoke, dancing, and shared moments that mark the end of an intense creative experience.
Monday, April 20 — Listening & Departure
On Monday morning, campers gather for a final breakfast and listening session. The group hears the last batch of work tapes created over the weekend before departing—closing the camp with reflection, connection, and a clear sense of what was built together.
