Nick Stockton is a multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter from the San Francisco Bay Area, now based in Los Angeles, CA. With over 20 years of experience playing music, he has been working as a professional musician since before he had a driver’s license. After two years covering gear for American Songwriter, Nick took over as the Editor of Gear and Commerce Content, seeing through the magazine’s first dedicated Gear Issue from start to finish (and writing much of the content himself). In his capacity as a music journalist, he has interviewed the likes of Johnny Marr, Margo Price, and Sheila E., as well as countless other luminaries in the music gear space.
